Web / Online Information – Post Insurance & Financial, Inc. is the owner of the information collected on its website. When you contact us from our website, you will provide us with certain personally identifiable information including your e-mail address. A cookie is a piece of data that is stored on a visitor’s hard drive while they are visiting our website. At Post Insurance & Financial, Inc., we may use a short-lived form of cookie when you visit our site to identify one unique visitor from another visitor during a particular session. Your information will be provided to the insurance company when we quote and/or when you purchase an insurance policy so they can establish you as a policyholder. We will maintain a record of your information at the offices of Post Insurance & Financial, Inc., so we can provide you with policyholder service.
Post Insurance & Financial, Inc., will not sell or rent your information to anyone – period. We may use your information within our agency to offer to you quality products and services that we believe are relevant to your interests through our agency. Payment information – When you purchase an insurance policy from Post Insurance & Financial, Inc., you might pay the premiums with your credit card or personal check. If you use these methods to pay the premium, your payment information may be used to process your payment on an insurance company, premium finance, or vendor payment related website. Payment information may be stored if you request auto tail-pay or have authorized your account for future payment transactions. If you pay the premium using personal check, your check may be processed electronically as an electronic funds transfer. Once the purchase has been authorized and the transaction accurately verified, your physical check is shredded. If your check is mailed to the insurance company, a copy of your check may be kept electronically in our files to provide a record in case it is not received by the insurance company or the amount processed by the insurance company is different than that indicated on the check.
We may also disclose information about you as permitted by law such as to respond to a subpoena or court order; to prevent fraud or to comply with an inquiry by a government (i.e., law enforcement) agency. We may also disclose information voluntarily to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in matters of national security.

We may collect personal information from third parties, including doctors, employers, other insurers, credit reporting agencies, insurance reporting agencies, government agencies, and medical information providers. Information we collect may include medical records, employment history and claim history. This information is generally used to confirm or supplement application information. We disclose consumer report information only as necessary to quote or service your insurance policy and as permitted by law, by obtaining a quote, you consent to our sharing of this information with companies and their affiliates for underwriting purposes. Other information used to investigate and settle insurance claims, such as witness statements and police reports, may be obtained and used as well.

These third party links are made available as a convenience and you agree to use these links at your own risk. Post Insurance & Financial, Inc. is not responsible for the content of third party websites nor are we responsible for the privacy policy or practices of third party websites linked to Post Insurance & Financial, Inc. Our Privacy Policy only applies to information we collect from you while you are on our site and while you are actively in a session with Post Insurance & Financial, Inc.
