Port St. Lucie, FL - Post Insurance & Financial has partnered with the Red Cross as a corporate sponsor of their shelter blankets. The Red Cross assists local governments and agencies in managing and providing supplies for local shelters during emergencies. Kathy Post, owner of Post Insurance, believes that emergency preparedness begins with supporting the needs of our first responders. As meteorologists predict another active hurricane season, Post said they're sponsoring shelter blankets because they do more than just provide warmth. They are a symbol of the comfort and security that the Red Cross provides in the midst of howling winds and rising waters. CEO of the North Treasure Coast Chapter of the Red Cross, Sarah Tippet Ruwe, said "The Red Cross is committed to meeting personal and family needs. As a corporate sponsor of the shelter blankets, Post Insurance is helping the Red Cross provide comfort to the many needing shelter when disaster strikes."
Kathy Post recently announced the partnership between Post Insurance and the Red Cross at the Grand Opening Celebration of their 2nd office located on Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
