Rebecca Post

Like the rest of the Post kids, Becky did her share helping out at the agency filing and answering phones growing up.  She joined the family business in 2003 when the changing needs of the agency and the insurance marketplace called for her knowledge and skills in communication, marketing, strategic planning, management, and technology. 

Becky is the Vice-President of Business Operations and oversees the internal business needs of the agency.  Agencies around the country have benefited from her Master's Degree in Communication and her leadership skills as former National Trainer for the Nationwide Insurance Office Manager Training Program in Columbus, Ohio.  Her focus in the agency is behind-the-scenes, from training, to marketing, to technology.  She spends time finding ways to foster company morale and employee engagement, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency.  This has included taking the agency paperless to reduce their carbon footprint, the adoption of an e-signature signature to offer convenience to customers, and connecting the agency to remote locations to function during natural disasters and pandemics. 

A native of St. Lucie County, Becky graduated from John Carroll High School and received her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Rhetorical Theory from Florida State University.  She was recognized as an FSU Outstanding Alumna in 2015.   She also won the Communicator of the Year Award by the Florida Public Relations Association-Treasure Coast Chapter for outstanding professional accomplishments and community involvement in 2015.

Becky worked for 8 years as a Legislative Liaison and Speechwriter for the Florida Governor's Office, the Florida House of Representatives, and Indian River State College President's Office prior to joining the agency. She has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Communications at Indian River State College since 1998. 

Becky has a passion for helping others achieve their fullest potential.  She volunteers as a National Trainer and Scholarship Reader for the Kappa Kappa Gamma National Fraternity.  A graduate of the Chamber's Leadership St. Lucie Program and the Kappa Kappa Gamma National Leadership Academy, she's served on the Board for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County and supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society while completing her first half-marathon.  She was a founding member of the local non-profit St. Lucie County Impact 100.  

In her free time, she spends time in nature and can be found hiking, swimming, paddle-boarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, biking, and gardening.  She loves spending time with family, learning, and cheering on her FSU Seminoles!
