Your Wind Mitigation Inspection suggests ways you can make your home more 'hurricane-resistant' during future storms. The free inspections that were sponsored by the My Safe Florida Home program through the Florida Department of Financial Services have now ended. However, homeowners are still encouraged to get Wind Mitigation Inspections on their own. Costs for inspections generally range from $75 - $150. Although there is no guarantee you will receive a savings on your insurance premiums, many of our clients have saved hundreds of dollars making it worth the cost to pay for the inspection.
