Kathy Post

A 3^rd Generation Florida native, Kathy Post grew up in St. Lucie County and is Owner and CEO of Post Insurance & Financial, Inc.  Founded in 1979, Post Insurance remains one of the longest operating insurance agencies in Port St. Lucie.  She is committed to upholding the highest standards in the industry and has been named an 'Elite Woman in Insurance' by Insurance Business of America and is considered among the top agents in the country. 

Post Insurance offers residential and business insurance from a range of quality companies. Kathy leads a team of 14 friendly professionals who understand the complexities of insurance and offer solutions for individual needs and budgets.  Post Insurance was proud to be named the '2021 Agency of the Year' by the National Underwriters Association of America.  

Kathy takes a leadership role in her community. She received the 2019 St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce 'Business of the Year' Award in the Insurance Category, the 2017 Treasure Coast Business Summit 'Trailblazer Award,' been nominated for the Economic Development Council Pete Hegener Leadership Award, and named the John Carroll High School Alumna of the Year in 2015.  She is a graduate of Leadership St. Lucie.

She also believes in giving back and supports many civic, non-profit and faith-based organizations. She received the Spirit of St. Lucie Community Angel Award by the United Way in 2017 and the Corporate Community Service Award by Nationwide Insurance in 2003 for her volunteer service. She has been active on many boards and committees include the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, Sunrise Theatre Foundation, Economic Development Council, Treasure Coast Builder's Association, Port St. Lucie Businesswomen's Association, Girl Scouts, United Way, Boys & Girls Club and others. 

Kathy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Barry University and her Insurance Licenses and Associate Degree from Indian River State College.

Kathy is married to Jeff Janocsko.  They have four children, and two grandsons. Her hobbies include traveling, volunteering, scrapbooking, and being a great mom and 'mimi'.
